Kevin J. Lauerman is a Partner with DeTommaso Law Group, LLC. He joined the firm in September 2016. Prior to that, for the 2015-16 court term, he served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Robert G. Wilson, J.S.C., Chancery Division – Family Part in Somerset and Hunterdon Counties. There, he gained exposure to matrimonial litigation while concurrently developing his knowledge of the law through handling various motions, pre- and post-divorce.
As a law student, Kevin served as a Student Fellow for the Sayra and Neil Meyerhoff Center for Families, Children & the Courts, where he studied regional family law policy and interacted with others in his role as a member of the Truancy Court Program, a holistic and therapeutic approach geared toward improving citywide education through the weekly gathering of judicial figures, legal professors, social workers, and law students. He simultaneously acquired status as a student attorney for the Saul Ewing Civil Advocacy Clinic and, under the tutelage of his then-professor, tried a matter to its conclusion and obtained his client a winning judgment.
Kevin was admitted to practice law in New Jersey in December 2015. He is a current member of the American State Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, and the Somerset County Bar Association.
